Spartans, I want to provide a quick update on our planning for the next semester in Bixby Public Schools.
The Bixby Board of Education and district leadership have been evaluating various options for the resumption of school in August. Please review these options by visiting bixbyps.info/june2020update. We invite all families to share their feedback with us via the survey accessible there as well. Thank you for your help!

Good morning, Spartans! We have an important message for you from Supt. Miller today. Please visit the link below to view this message in its entirety. Wishing everyone a wonderful day!
"I do know that we don’t have to live another person’s experiences to empathize or care. We just need to listen, without bias or judgment, and allow our hearts to be moved to make change. We should genuinely listen to our fellow citizens and hear their stories. Seek to understand. Work with others in our community to help make our schools, our city, and our world a better place for every human being."

Spartan families,
In order to ascertain the level of need in our community, we ask that you fill out this survey if your Bixby student does NOT have access to the internet and/or a device to complete schoolwork at home.
The survey will need to be completed separately for each child enrolled at BPS.

Thank you!

Peach Jar Pro Tip!
Parents, BPS "muted" Peach Jar, so to speak, during distance learning with the exception of internal flyers, as to not overwhelm families with more information coming electronically. We will be "unmuting" as of today.
Remember, you can control how often you receive Peach Jar emails! See pics for details!

It's almost time for Pre-K and new Kindergarten enrollment! Please see below for details!
Pro tip: gather the required documents and make sure they are saved electronically to the device you'll use to enroll! This ensures uploading will be easy and streamlined!

Mr. Gerald Davenport will be the Honorary Marshal of tonight’s Senior Parade immediately following Officer Kendrick. Mr. Davenport is retiring this year after 6 years of teaching at BHS. He has built the AP Physics classes from under 10 to over 100 students in these 6 years. He was an attorney in Texas for 30 years prior to teaching. Honored as the 2018-2019 BHS Teacher of the Year, he’s an amazing educator who builds strong relationships with students and guides them to success. He has changed the lives of countless students by building their confidence and inspiring them to greatness.
We hope to see you tonight, Spartans! Please review the route, map, and guidelines and make sure you’re observing social distancing protocols. If you are tuning in via FB Live, you will want to visit the Bixby High School page at 6:30 PM!
