Last night at the Bixby Public Schools Board meeting, BNI's counselor Brooke Puckett was presented with a very special award by Superintendent Miller. The "Porcupine Hugger" award recognizes the powerful impact that an educator has on positively affecting the life of a child. Ms. Puckett truly makes a difference in the life of a child each and every day, and we are so appreciative of all that she does for our students and families!

Mrs. Sparkman's 4th grade Tag Engineers tested out the Wind-Powered Cars they created., and they cheered each other on as they tracked how far the wheels would roll with the fan blowing on the sail. Great job 4th graders!

What a wonderful day today as these two young ladies developed an idea to help show Mr. Scott how much we appreciate all the hard work he does for our school! They decorated the cafeteria to surprise him, and each student provided a thought to put in the "Mr. Scott Appreciation Jar":)
They are truly an example of kindness put into action!
Mrs. Vandolah, is the Assistant Principal here at Bixby North Intermediate as well as the Assistant Principal at Bixby North Elementary. She may split her time, but she brightens the day when she walks through the door. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and students know that she is always someone they can count on and who will be their encourager and advocate. As we celebrate Assistant Principal Week, we want to say, " Thank you, Mrs. VanDolah! We so appreciate you!!"

Don’t forget, returning student registration is DUE March 31st. Any student whose registration remains incomplete at this time will be unable to register until May 27th and will have to provide additional documentation including two proofs of residence and parent/guardian identification. It’s imperative that all returning families complete this process by March 31st. Failure to meet this deadline will result in students being dropped from active enrollment for 2021-22 and the planning process.
