With the possibility of transitioning to distant learning due to winter weather, we are asking that parents come pick up their child's Chromebook on Monday between 11am-1pm. If you have any questions regarding Chromebooks or Distant Learning, please reach out to your child's teacher or email cbarton@bixbyps.org. We are all here to help make this process as easy as possible!

Kasbaums first graders went over to NI today to Mrs. Wertz 5th grade to experience a VR field trip to Washington D.C. since we’re studying all about American symbols!

Kids Heart Challenge has officially kicked off at our school and we are quacked about it! Your student will be learning different ways to keep their hearts happy AND healthy through the messages of our quacktastic heart heroes!!

Mrs. Mitchell’s class had some fun in math today with a Project Based Learning assignment where they worked with a small group to plan a trip to Super Bowl LIX. Each group was a “family” who budgeted for flights, lodging, food, souvenirs, and of course, tickets to the big game! This led to a great class discussion and appreciation for when our families take us on big trips and how much time, planning, and money it costs. What a fun, real world lesson!

This week is School Counseling Week! Our counselors, Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Nichols, do much much for our students at North Elementary! We can't wait to celebrate them all week!
We have NO words! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!! You have helped the best athletes go to the Special Olympics! Our hearts are FULL after watching BNE be so dedicated and involved in supporting our fundraiser this whole week!!
