All TCC Concurrent Enrollment Students: Final Day to Drop - Friday, August 28th by 5:00 pm - An adjustment form (link below) must be completed by both the student and their counselor.  Please email your completed adjustment form to your HS counselor and they will email your drop form to TCC.  A drop means that it is as if the student never enrolled in the course. No charges and nothing will be seen on the college transcript.  After Friday, students who want to withdraw from the course will receive a W on their college transcript which can have future financial aid implications but is grade point neutral. They will also be responsible for the costs associated with the course.                               https://www.tulsacc.edu/sites/default/files/file_attachments/schedule_adjustment_form.pdf

To All TCC Concurrent Enrollment Students - Please see the following from TCC regarding their optional orientation: The TCC Fall semester start date is Monday, August 17th, which is fast approaching. Your high school might be starting at a later date, but TCC will start on the 17th. You need to be ready! We will be holding Zoom Dual Credit Fall Orientations Wednesday, August 12th and Thursday, August 14th. Four sessions will be offered and you will choose from one of those. These orientations will have information needed for you to be successful this semester. Many of you will be taking courses using the Online Live format. Some will be doing blended courses with some face to face meetings required. While others are enrolled in all online or all face to face courses. This orientation will teach you how to be successful in any type of course you are enrolled in this Fall. -What are the differences between College and High School -How do I talk to a Professor? -What is a syllabus and why is it so important? -What is FERPA? -What support services are available? Can I talk to an advisor? -How do I take courses that aren't meeting face to face? -How do I use Blackboard? Many of the high schools require their students to take this orientation because they have seen the benefits of it. Data shows students who take advantage of college orientations are more successful in their courses than those who don't. This school year is like no other, please plan to take advantage of this opportunity and come to a Fall Orientation! Follow the directions below to attend one of the Dual Credit Fall Orientations. Pick from one of the following time slots: Wednesday, August 12th 10:00am-1:30am Wednesday, August 12th 1:00pm-2:30pm Thursday, August 13th 10:00am-11:30am Thursday, August 13th 1:00pm-2:30pm Copy and past the link below into your web browser.
