ImpactTulsa is excited to be teaming up with all Tulsa-area school districts and post-secondary institutions to host virtual FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) events. Students must complete the FAFSA to qualify for aid like grants, scholarships, and federal student loans. The window to complete the FAFSA is October 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021. File early for the best chance of getting more financial aid. Parents and students are invited to attend any of these online meetings to learn more about how to complete each step of the FAFSA and have specific questions answered by financial aid experts.

Update Regarding ACT & Masks:
Beginning with the September 2020 ACT® exam, ACT is requiring all examinees to bring and wear masks or cloth face covering to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. They will not be able to enter the test center if they do not have a mask.
Congratulations to Bixby High School Senior Aubrey McNiel, who has been named a 2021 National Merit Semifinalist. Aubrey will now compete to be named a National Merit Finalist in the spring. Aubrey received this recognition by being recognized as one of the top 16,000 students among the 1.5 million high school juniors who participated in the preliminary SAT/ National Merit Qualifying Exam (PSAT). Bixby High School is very proud of this outstanding student!

All TCC Concurrent Enrollment Students:
Final Day to Drop - Friday, August 28th by 5:00 pm - An adjustment form (link below) must be completed by both the student and their counselor. Please email your completed adjustment form to your HS counselor and they will email your drop form to TCC. A drop means that it is as if the student never enrolled in the course. No charges and nothing will be seen on the college transcript. After Friday, students who want to withdraw from the course will receive a W on their college transcript which can have future financial aid implications but is grade point neutral. They will also be responsible for the costs associated with the course.
