What are some of the ways you are staying connected with your friends??? We would love to hear from our students about the ways you are communicating and connecting.

BHS Students & Parents,

A little message going out to our amazing 9GC students from our Staff. We miss you and hope you are staying safe and healthy.

The English Classes had the pleasure of hosting Jennifer Latham, author of Dreamland Burning today. Her knowledge of the Tulsa Race Massacre was frightening, but her insight into writing was inspiring. Thanks to the History department for collaborating with us to bring this novel to our students.

Do you have a student-athlete who will be participating in BPS school sports in 2020-2021? Physicals are required for them to begin participation!
Visit here for information on BPS All-Athlete Physicals Night: https://www.bixbyspartanathletics.com/physicals

Last call for BPS Food Drive items benefitting Bixby Outreach Center! BOC will be picking up these items from all school sites on Monday morning! Thank you, Spartans, for all of your generous contributions!

Our students loved having the opportunity to pet Fenway during lunch and raise money for Make a Wish at the same time!!!

Mrs. Cox's Biology classes solved a medical mystery! They used gel electrophoresis to compare DNA segments of (fictitious) viruses to determine which virus was resulting in an outbreak of illness. Students practiced using professional tools like micropipettes and electrophoresis chambers generously provided by Bixby Educational Endowment Fund over the last several years!

The Geometry classes used a Right Triangle Trig Scavenger Hunt around the room to solve problems and create a "Math Lib" paragraph.

Miss Lee’s classes celebrated Fat Tuesday + Mardi Gras by enjoying (generously donated by parents) King’s cakes, and discussing the migration of French Cajun traditions to Oklahoma after hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast in 2006!
*6th hour had the extra treat of live jazz music!

The Physical Science classes explored how simple machines like pulleys can reduce the input force needed to do work.
