The long-standing partnership between BPS and the BOC has impacted countless families! BOC is launching a new program this spring...Break Boxes! These boxes will feed entire families over school breaks as we combat food insecurity together! BPS will be hosting a DISTRICT-WIDE food drive 2/18-3/6 to help in this effort! Mrs. Phenicie’s classes worked on identifying the various conflicts in Dreamland Burning. Student illustrated these conflicts and made it into a class paper quilt.




The Principal’s Student Advisory Committee got to experience the 9th Grade Center’s new VR Goggle provided by BEEF.




Ms Pierce, Mrs Tomlinson, and Miss Lee’s classes had the privilege, of viewing the Tulsa Historical Society's Tulsa Race Massacre traveling panels.
Their classes completed a critical thinking activity developed by Mrs Tomlinson while viewing the panels, which tell the in-depth story of the 1921 Massacre on Black Wall Street.
The History + English departments are currently doing cross curricular activities over the Massacre.

Spartans: We need to STEP IT UP to ensure our Bixby Spartans license plate goes into production! We currently have only 11 pre-orders on file! We need to increase that to 100 by May 1st! Mrs. Cox's biology classes extracted DNA from strawberries. Students thought it was pretty cool to get to see actual DNA from a living thing! It did not look like they expected.
