As we celebrate National School Counseling Week, we want to thank our amazing 9th Grade Center counselors Mrs. Butler and Mrs. Thompson and our District Counseling Coordinator Mrs. Morris! You truly make a difference in the lives of students every day and we appreciate you very much!
Mr. Simmons and his students had a great time using a teaching method called, "Speed Dating" to review their organelles! Mr. Simmons said it was a relative success.

A big thank you to our 9th grade NJHS volunteers for helping with the Bixby Battle of the Bots tournament!
The 9th Grade Academic Team opened their season with a closely fought match against Jenks. The brought home the win for the Spartans with a final score of 310-290. Congratulations! If any students are interested in joining the team and can commit to Monday practices and Wednesday matches after school, they can contact Mrs. Gilman at Bixby High School.

We finished up a great first semester of FCA! FCA meets every Wednesday during all 3 lunches upstairs in the library loft. All are welcome! We hope to see you in January!
Last Friday, the 9th Grade Center students, teachers, and admin CELEBRATED a successful fall semester. There were board games, video games, a dance party, popcorn & hot chocolate sale and more! We are so proud of this freshman class and all the hard work they have put into their academics. What better way to celebrate than an afternoon of FUN called “DECK THE HALLS!”
