BHS Fall Dance Information:
- The Fall Dance is on September 9 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel.
- This event is for all Bixby High School students (grades 9 through 12).
- Outside guests are allowed.
- Each Bixby student is allowed only one outside guest.
- A visitor form must be completed for guests.
- Guests must be at least in the 9th grade and no older that 20.
- Tickets are $30 each and will go on sale Monday, September 4.
- Tickets will sold online through the 5 Star Student Website or App. Also, a link will be sent out.
- Students will not receive an actual ticket. They will use their id in the 5 Star Website or App to check into the event.
- Students must be passing all classes to attend.

The Back to School Bash will be Friday, August 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the high school football stadium. Tickets are $15. Ticket includes rides, dancing, field games, and one ice cream. There will be a Candy Truck available for students to purchase additional items. This event is for Bixby High School and Freshman students only. No outside guests. Tuesday, April 4 (tomorrow) is a fundraiser at Tacos4Life for the BHS Make A Wish project. BHS gets 30% of all sales. You must tell them you are with Bixby High School. This money will go to Oklahoma Make A Wish to help grant wishes. Bixby Public Schools currently has four students waiting for wishes.

Freshman Madison Smith and Addelynn Reynolds competed at the Oklahoma State Championships this weekend for their club gymnastics teams. These athletes train 3-4 hours every night after school on four events. All of their hard work paid off this weekend!! Addelynn placed third in the state on uneven bars. balance beam, and all-around. Madison placed fourth in the state on vault, 5th on floor, and 8th in the all-around. Addelynn qualified for the Regional Championship in April. Join us in celebrating these Bixby Spartan students on their success!

Due to numerous scheduling conflicts, Mr. Bixby is being moved to Sunday, February 26 at 3:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The cost is $5. Bring extra money to vote for fan favorite. This event is for the entire community. All money goes to support the student activities Make A Wish campaign.

How is our state aid determined? How can I help advocate for smaller class sizes? How would vouchers impact our school district's financial status?
Join us for a series of panel sessions, open to our entire community, to learn the basics of Oklahoma school finance and understand how decisions at the Capitol impact our classrooms in BPS. This is also an opportunity to engage with local legislators on these important topics.
