Jamie Mauldin-Barnes Has GRACIOUSLY volunteered to collect donations if you'd prefer to donate that way!! (if you venmo her please leave a note that it's for BOC peanut butter)! Monetary donations need to be sent by October 3rd (Tuesday) at 4pm, and physical donations need to be at the 9GC by 8:45 am on October 5th (Thursday)!

Bixby High School, along with 938 other local STUCO students, came together at Jenks High School last Wednesday, for a memorable District Convention. Together they exchanged ideas aimed at amplifying their influence. The event featured an inspiring keynote address by Clay Martin, an NFL referee.

The 9GC recently had the pleasure of hosting Lian Manlun during our multicultural food PowerUp class.
Mr. Manlun is from north east India, and a member of the indigenous Zo tribe. He shared with students about his native culture and more broadly about Indian culture. He talked to students about the vastness of India and how it is home to 121 languages and 705 ethnic groups, making it an incredibly diverse country. He also talked about India being the spice capital of the world. He brought homemade Indian chai tea for students to try.
