It's the last day of school, Spartans, and you know what that means!
BPS: Hey Bixby East Elementary!
EE: Hey what?!
BPS: Can you tell us it's the last day without telling us it's the last day?
EE: Sure can!

It's #ThankYouThursday, Spartans and this one goes out to Bixby Youth Basketball - Whitey Ford!
Mrs. Nielsen just dropped off the last of their ”thank yous” to our school sites who hosted the youth teams throughout the season!
"We appreciate so much the support we receive from the school district and without these gyms it simply would not be possible to serve the 793 Spartans who played basketball through Bixby Youth Basketball this season! See you in October to do it all again!!!" -Amy
Thank you, Amy, for all you do for BPS and for showing your appreciation to our sites in such a special way!

It’s #TakeCareTuesday and May is Mental Health Awareness Month! We recognize that all mental health matters, including our children’s mental health! Resiliency is built when our students can find ways to manage stress in a healthy and positive way, including talking to a trusted adult. If a young person in your life is going through a tough time, remind them that there’s always help and hope. Click the link below for a few more talking tips about this important topic. On this #takecaretuesday we want to highlight our Spartan Therapy Dogs who frequently visit our 9th-12th grade students. Studies show that dogs improve overall health and well-being by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. Our students sure think so, too. They often say “dog days are the best days!” A huge thanks to Comfort Canines of Tulsa, and our volunteer handlers for their support of Bixby students! Be well, Spartans! #nationaldogday
