Developed for students entering grades 1-6, this program is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to introduce your child to STEM concepts through engaging, hands-on challenges. As they move through four all-new experiences, campers collaborate with friends, grow their problem-solving skills and bring their creative ideas to life. Is there a doctor in the house?! Bixby Central Elementary students are performing "Syllable Surgery" today and could use an extra set of hands! We sure love seeing all of the creative ways our teachers make learning FUN!

Summer School registration for students in grades 8-12 is still open and the last day to sign up with the early bird rate is today! Rates will increase tomorrow so make sure to complete the registration and submit payment today. There are still a few teams available for the BHS Putt for Wishes Golf Tournament. This tournament is being hosted by the BHS Student Activities and 100% of the money goes to Oklahoma Make A Wish. A team of four is now $500 which includes golf, carts, and lunch. Please contact DeWayne Patterson at BHS if interested, 918-366-2379. There are currently over 300 children in Oklahoma waiting for wishes.

On this #takecaretuesday we want to highlight our Spartan Therapy Dogs who frequently visit our 9th-12th grade students. Studies show that dogs improve overall health and well-being by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. Our students sure think so, too. They often say “dog days are the best days!” A huge thanks to Comfort Canines of Tulsa, and our volunteer handlers for their support of Bixby students! Be well, Spartans! #nationaldogday

It's #ThankYouThursday, Spartans, and "thank you" just is not sufficient in this scenario. At tonight's Board of Education Meeting, Bridge the Gap presented the district with a check for TWO. HUNDRED. THOUSAND. DOLLARS. What a testament to the incredible community we have here in Bixby! A team of 29 volunteers and a room full of 500+ Spartan supporters raised these funds which will go directly back to classrooms! We cannot wait to share with you the difference this will make in our schools! #attitudeofgratitude
