Mrs. Bartley's 4th grade classes made "Kindness Hearts" for Kindness Week! Kindness Week isn't just about being kind to each other, but also about being kind to ourselves! Students made hearts and put kind words that they thought described themselves or words they hoped others saw in them!
Mrs. Steuart's flex group painted "kindness rocks" this week in preparation for Kindness Week next week! They hid them around the school for students to find and re-hide around campus for someone else to discover and join in on the fun! Thank you Mrs. Steuart and your flex group for spreading kindness throughout our day!
Next week is Kindness Week which includes fun dress up days, games, etc.! Then on Thursday next week, we have an event for the entire family to enjoy- Our annual Stem Night!
Link Up is a free outreach program started by Carnegie Hall in New York City to link elementary/intermediate-aged students with professional musicians in their communities across the nation. This is not your typical orchestra concert though. It is designed as an interactive event with students actively involved in singing, playing, and moving with the orchestra. They learn the music in class, and then perform right along with the orchestra at the concert!

Each day we will have:
* 1 winning class per grade level. The winning class per grade level class will get a daily candy 🍬 prize (either later that day OR 1st thing the next morning. )
*At the end of the week: there will be a 🍪 cookie party for the overall winner per grade level.
*There will also be a pizza 🍕 party for the grand prize winner of the building.
*Dollars bills 💵 and checks are HAPPILY accepted!!! Checks can be made out to Bixby Public Schools.
