Way to Go Wednesday!
Congratulations to our 4th Grade Students of the Month for September!
They were nominated by their teachers for their self-disciple, responsibility, respect and kindness.
Keep up the great work, Spartans! We are proud of you! 💙👏🏼❤️

Congratulations to the lovely Mrs. Francis & Mrs. Phillips for winning the Spartan Sparky and Sparkina!
5th grade won the Mighty Megaphone, and our amazing PTO treated staff to the Treat Trolly.
Lots of amazing things going on over at BEI! ❤️🤍💙

Today, our 6th grade Social Studies students had the honor of hearing from Glenn Billings, a former member of the National Disaster Medical System Mortuary Operational Response Team, who assisted with the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Mr. Billings shared his firsthand experiences and helped students better understand the human impact, service and sacrifice surrounding this important moment in American history.
We are especially grateful because Glenn is Mrs. Steuart's uncle. Thank you Glenn, for making the trip to our school and sharing your story with our students. This is a lesson they will remember for years to come.

Teacher Appreciation Week is a beautiful reminder to celebrate the people who help us grow every day. Just like flowers need care, patience, and the right environment to bloom, students thrive because of the dedication and support of their teachers and staff.
A simple gesture—like giving flowers—can say so much. Each bloom can represent gratitude, growth, and the lasting impact teachers have on our lives. This week, let’s show our appreciation in ways both big and small and remind our teachers just how much they mean to us. 🌸

Fraction Pizzeria in Mrs. McDonald's 4th grade math class! They reviewed adding, subracting, converting, and finding equivalent fractions and decimals. They also practiced time, money, and vocabulary!
