Friday we had our 1st official Watch Dog arrival! These amazing volunteers will start being here the first Friday of the month! So thankful that we have our Watch Dogs back at West Elementary!❤️
Next week is national school lunch week! The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) serves nearly 30 million children every school day. President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom. #NSLW22 will be celebrated October 10-14, 2022.
We will have new foods for kiddos to try, a photo prop area, and a dress up day to celebrate! Join us as we celebrate with our most favorite cafeteria ladies all week!!
Congratulations to our Country Financial Teachers of the month! For August we celebrated Ms Petersen 1st Grade Teacher and for September we celebrated Ms Scheinkoenig Special Education teacher. Thank you so much to Ronnie Lutz and Country Financial for helping us celebrate these amazing teachers!

Big News!!!! Watch Dogs are back! We had our first Watch Dog on campus today. Mr Miller volunteer his time working with students all over the building (he also spent some time at WI). So excited to have dads (and dad substitutes) on site again!!

Monday we celebrated this groups of CURIOUS learners. They were our Life Principle Award winners for the month of August. We celebrated them during our very first Rise and Shine of the year! We are so proud of them!
