Our book fair begins next week, Oct 7!!
We are so excited to get started and for everyone to see all the amazing things the fair brought! You can now shop online and order gift cards via our online shop at: https://literati.com/store/?school=north-elementary-school-bixby-ok
Gift cards are the digital solution to sending your kids to school safely with funds to shop without sending cash! Gift cards can be pulled up digitally at the registers, so need to print and send anything in! Just load them online and we can take it from there!
If you would like to shop with your children, grade level shopping times are as follows:
- PreK: 8:00-8:45
- Kindergarten: 10:15-11:00
- 1st Grade: 9:30-10:15
- 2nd Grade: 11:00-11:45
- 3rd Grade: 8:45-9:15
We will also be open during Parent Teacher Conferences the night of Oct 9 from 4-7!
See you at the fair!

Thank you to our PTO, volunteers, sponsors, parents, and staff for all you did to make our annual Jog-a-Thon a fun success! It takes a village and everyone came together to support our students!

Schools are working together to stock the pantry next week! If you are able to send in canned soup, there are families that will really appreciate it!

❤️💙That time when Superintendent Miller stops by your class to say Good Morning to your class and joins right in on our morning activities!❤️💙

Today, Mrs. Lindsey's 3rd grade class traveled back to the year 1899 and got to experience a full day of school in a one room school house !!
They wrote on slate boards , ate from tin lunch pales , experienced recess using their imagination, and used the outhouse for bathroom breaks .
No electricity , no ac , wooden desks.
They learned so much and enjoyed this experience!

NEXT WEEK!!!
Homecoming Week and Canned Food Drive!!

Check out all of the October events!

Don't forget to get your Book Fair raffle tickets this week!
Students will have the choice to swing by the library on their way to class in the morning and purchase tickets for $1. There is no limit! We ask that they use cash only please.
Ticket sales will go straight back to the students to ensure that every child gets to take a book home from the book fair. As an extra incentive, names will be drawn during the book fair and those students will get a free item from the book fair! Also, the classes from each grade level that raises the most money will win a library party while their teacher earns a break!
Thank you for your help in making our book fair a success!!

Distance Learning success! Thank you to all of our parents, students, and staff for navigating through this day together! Everyone did a wonderful job! We are so proud of our North Elementary community!

Order your yearbook early before the holidays approach us!

#thankfulthursday goes out to our amazing hospitality committee at NE! They transformed the lounge into a beautiful Fall into Fall escape! Raffle, scavenger hunt, and fall treats for all! Thank you!

Distant Learning tomorrow!

Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Nichols did an amazing job explaining the Life Principle of self control to Mrs. Burns' Kindergarten class. The first time Mrs. Nichols blew the bubble gun, the kids got to pop as many bubbles as they could. After reinforcing self-control, and encouraging them to control their bodies, she blew bubbles a second time and no one moved! Thank you to our counselors!
