
BMS is registered to participate in the 2019 NIDA Drugs & Alcohol Chat Day on 1/24/19. We have room for about 30 students to participate. If you are interested in your student participating, please contact rwallace@bixbyps.org.

8th Grade parents: The application window is now open for the Tulsa Tech Pre-Engineering class for the 2019-2020 school year. 8th grade students can go to tulsatech.edu/apply to start the application process.

Our All-Athlete Physicals Night (7-12th grades) is scheduled for Thursday, 5/2 @ 6pm at BHS. Students participating in extra-curricular activities and athletics for the 2019-2020 school year are required to complete this process prior to the beginning of the school year.

NJHS members participating in National Wreaths Across America Day. The purpose of Wreaths Across America is to REMEMBER our fallen U.S. Veterans, HONOR those who serve, and TEACH children the value of freedom.

BMS would like to congratulate Shelley Lawson for being chosen as our November District Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Lawson teaches Science for us here at the Middle School and her contributions and efforts with our students are much appreciated. Way to go Mrs. Lawson!

BMS would like to congratulate Charles McAllister and Devra Naylor for their 3rd place finish in this weekend's Speech and Debate tournament held in Sapulpa. They placed 3rd in Public Forum debate.

Our BMS NJHS hosted a brunch this week for our district’s bus drivers and transportation staff to thank them for all their hard work and service to our students and district.


8th grade students have an opportunity to take the PSAT 8 on Thursday, 12/6. The test cost is $11.00. Students taking the test will need to bring money to the counseling office by Wednesday, 10/31. Space is limited to the first 175 students. Call 918-366-2201 for more info.

BMS will be piloting a paperless 6 week progress report process this year. Parents / Students who would like to have a paper copy of their 6 week progress report can pick it up through the main office or counseling office.
