The Bixby FFA Officer Team visited the State Capitol today to talk with State Legislators about what agricultural programs do for public school students. Thank you to former Spartan and current Representative Provenzano as well as Representative Dills for meeting with our students!
Reminder to buy your tickets this week for the Silent Dance to be held on March 6 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Old Whitey Ford gym. Tickets are $10 each and the profits go to Make A Wish. The last day to buy tickets is Friday, February 21. #bhsbecomingalegacy

All students grades 9-11 have started the pre-enrollment process for the 2020-2021 school year. Students have the updated curriculum guide and the PowerPoint presentations on their Canvas calendars, but you may view them on the counselors' webpage using the link: t.ly/83KjY. Current sophomores and juniors will briefly meet one-on-one with their counselors during their English classes beginning next week. Students that do not have an English class or are taking an English class online or a concurrent English class will be seen the week of March 2nd. Please review and sign your student's enrollment form prior to their counselor meeting.

The long-standing partnership between BPS and the BOC has impacted countless families! BOC is launching a new program this spring...Break Boxes! These boxes will feed entire families over school breaks as we combat food insecurity together! BPS will be hosting a DISTRICT-WIDE food drive 2/18-3/6 to help in this effort! BHS Graduating Seniors…
NOW is the time to apply for the scholarships which are offered through the Bixby Educational Endowment Foundation (BEEF). The application submission deadline is Friday, March 6, 2020 by 1:00 p.m.
BEEF awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships in 2019. We encourage all graduating seniors who are planning to further their education to apply for all the scholarships for which they qualify. You will find a listing of the scholarships as well as the instructions and application forms on the BEEF Website at www.bixbyps.org. If you have any questions regarding the BEEF Scholarships, please call Gina Redding at 918-857-8861. The scholarship winners will be announced at the Academic Awards Program on the evening of APRIL 2, 2020 AT 7:00 PM.
