Spartans, did you know that My HeartCheck has tested over 11,000 kids, regularly finding heart conditions that could have gone undetected and caused serious health concerns?! We are thrilled to have them back on campus to provide these important screenings for our community!

Don’t forget, returning student registration is DUE March 31st. Any student whose registration remains incomplete at this time will be unable to register until May 27th and will have to provide additional documentation including two proofs of residence and parent/guardian identification. It’s imperative that all returning families complete this process by March 31st. Failure to meet this deadline will result in students being dropped from active enrollment for 2021-22 and the planning process.

Hello CE Families!
BPS will move to distance learning for Wednesday and Thursday. Your teacher will reach out to you to verify you have everything you need. All plans will be posted in Google Classroom every day by 8:30am. Please don’t forget specials! Students must participate in order to be counted “present” for the day. If you have any questions or problems please let your teacher know so we can make this transition as smooth as possible.

Today we thanked our counselors with goodie baskets filled with their favorite things!
Our counselors were treated to a yummy lunch for National School Counselors Week!
CE students have been working hard this week making sure our counselors feel the love!
This week is National School Counseling Week! This week is celebrated each year to focus public attention on the unique contributions of our school counselors.
We will be celebrating our wonderful counselors, Mrs. Maguire and Mrs. Adams and everything they do within CE to help our students be successful.
Feel free to leave them a note or shoot them an email thanking them for all their hard work!
In the fall Mrs. Hall, Central Elementary Media Specialist, and Mrs. Adams, School Counselor, wrote a Cox grant to purchase supplies for Makers Space and Brick Based Counseling programs. With the generous donation of $1,000 from Cox Communications, Central Elementary was able to purchase Lego supplies to further enhance these valuable programs promoting STEM and SEL (Social Emotional Learning). Pictured are some of the students who will benefit from this grant. Thank you Cox Communications!
