#ThankyouThursday at CE and this is Mason Ivey is a high school student who comes and volunteers in pre-K classes. 16 years ago he was in Mrs. Eccles‘s pre-K class and now he is doing small group with Mrs. Eccles current pre-K class. We want to thank Mason for giving his time to our pre-K friends.

#What'supWednesdat at CE and just in time for Easter, Mrs. Spain's kinder class are using their creative skills to water color peeps!

#TeamworkTuesday at CE and Easter is right around the corner so Mrs. Eccles Pre-K class is working together on their fine motor skills by putting eggs together.

#MeetusMonday at CE and we had the privilege of getting to meet published children's book author Justin Colon. Justin Colón is a professional actor and children's book author. His previous picture books include The Quacken (illustrated by Pablo Pino) and Impossible Possums, (illustrated by James Rey Sanchez). A lover of Halloween and zombie movies, Justin is also a backyard beekeeper. Though his bees sometimes frighten the neighbors, they’ve never tried to eat their brains—something Justin takes great pride in. He lives in New York, but you can visit him at JustinColonBooks.com. The kids were immersed in an interactive adventure and a special meet and greet for him to sign purchased books.

#TeamworkTuesday at CE... Mrs. Beach & Mrs. Hinkson, along with their friends had to work together to try and find that pesky Leprechaun that came to visit the classroom. He walked on the white board and desks. He left footprints on the floor and even used the bathroom.
