Bixby 9GC welcomes Patty Nolan to our team. Mrs. Nolan has taught for 27 years. Her and her husband recently relocated back to Bixby from New Mexico. They have 3 daughters and Disney World is her fav place! Mrs. Nolan is teaching English for us here at the 9GC. Welcome to Bixby!!


Welcome New Teacher Mrs. Dean to Bixby. She moved from California in 2018. She has been married for 22 years and has 2 children whom are both in college. Ms. Dean is teaching Special Ed/English and Communications. We are excited to have her with us at the 9GC!


Biology students at the 9th grade center learned about the amazing properties of water in a lab this week. They visited seven different stations to learn about the different properties that make it a unique molecule and necessary to sustain life.

Help us Welcome Kyle Kachelmeyer to the 9GC. This is Kyle’s first year to teach and he is teaching Science and is the Varsity cheer coach. He graduated from OU where he was in the cheer squad all 4 years. He also attended West Texas A&M. In his free time he loves to play air soft and is a big PC gamer. Parents: Mark your calendar for October 29th, 6:30 PM at BPS Multipurpose. Cyber Safety Expert - Jason Weis is joining us to provide a workshop on all things tech safety, hidden dangers to look out for, and the tools you need to keep your kids safe when using their devices.

Homecoming is fast approaching. If students plan to attend the Homecoming Dance they must be eligible to do so. That means they must be passing all classes. Eligibility will be determined on Friday October 4th for the following week.

Miss Lee’s US Government classes are learning about different types of governments. Using gummy bears + their imaginations the classes created photo essays depicting the 7 types of Government they learned about!




New Teacher spotlight today is Ms. Osceola. She has taught for 14 years and she teaches English and Sped for us at the 9GC. Ms. Osceola and her family enjoy cycling and camping together. We are so excited to welcome her to our district!!


Mrs. Snyder’s Geometry classes are being introduced to proofs in Geometry by using the rules of UNO. They will begin algebraic proofs next week!!

Bixby 9GC would like to welcome Coach Nelson back to Bixby! Coach Nelson is a Bixby graduate and is in his 3rd year of teaching. He is teaching Special Education for us as well as coaching Football. Coach Nelson graduated from Missouri Southern! He has a 5 month old Baby Boy and loves lifting, fishing, and sports in general. We are excited to have Coach Nelson join our staff!
