Bixby High School and Bixby 9th Grade Center teamed up to attend the Oklahoma Association of Student Councils virtual State Convention hosted by Yukon High School.
Yesterday the history department participated in a mock Presidential election. The election was the culmination of the 9GC US government classes campaign + election unit.
Volunteers played poll workers, students used their voter registration cards as identification, and real OK sample ballots were used in an effort to make the simulation as real as could be.

We're getting a makeover!
Just a quick note to let you know that our BPS website will be down for just a bit tomorrow, beginning around 9 AM, as we transition to an upgraded version! Proofs through the game of Uno. They had fun and were able to use Reasoning and Logic to complete each task.
Ms. Peters and Ms. Murdock's classes teamed together for a lesson on communication, teamwork, and perseverance!
