Take a simple action each day and do your part to celebrate public schools!

Sunday, February 20: Update your Facebook profile pic with the #PublicSchoolProud image found in the Helpful Tools below. Just download from the link and upload to your profile. If you use Instagram as well, you can import your Facebook image.

Monday, February 21: Join us in #RedforEd at the State Capitol for a news conference and meetings with legislators. Click here to see the day’s agenda and RSVP! Can't make it in person? Schedule a zoom meeting with your legislator or click here to send an email.

Tuesday, February 22: Share the reasons you love public school on your social media accounts. Wear Red for Ed and post a selfie OR share a favorite school moment photo with the hashtags #PublicSchoolProud, #RedforEd, #OklaEd.

Wednesday, February 23: Quote your kid! Ask your student their favorite thing about school and share their quote on social media. Hashtag with #PublicSchoolProud, #OklaEd, #WeChoosePublicSchool

Thursday, February 24: Send a note or email to your student's teachers reminding them of their value and saying thanks.

Friday, February 25: Send a handwritten note or card to our elected officials. Consider writing the Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of Education and/or your legislators. Share the reasons you value public school and encourage them to fully support public education. (Kid’s notes are impactful, too!)
