I am very excited to share that we are currently installing an additional play structure on the playground!. This structure will add a double slide, a swirling slide, and climbing capabilities. Last spring, I reached out to PTO and Bixby’s Optimist Club to share my desire for an additional structure and asked if they could help contribute. Both organizations supported this vision and provided additional monetary support for the border and playground mulch to make it possible! I value the importance of children’s play as it strongly impacts developmental growth and social skills. I’m grateful to have a community who shares that vision!
