Welcome to October, Westies! All the fall activities are in motion. This coming week is packed with activities so here's a break down of everything you need to know:
Homecoming Week
Show some spirit this week with dress up days! Please remember no masks or props for Superhero Day!
HOCO Food Drive
BPS is coming together during homecoming week to support our local community. Each site is asking for specific donations. Please send packaged noodles and spaghetti sauce to help support the BOC (Bixby Outreach Center). Grade level points will be given for donations.. 1 point per jar of spaghetti sauce and/or package of noodles.
Tattoo Your Teacher Fundraiser
Send your students with a few bucks (cash only) to school on Thursday morning. Students will be able to purchase small tattoos to give to any teacher. The teacher wearing the most tattoos at the Rally that afternoon will earn an extra plan time!
HOCO Rally
We will have our second school rally on Thursday this week to celebrate homecoming! Please encourage your child to wear their grade level colors and/or Superhero wear to earn grade level points!
PTO Fall Fundraiser Update
We are SO thankful for the incredible support our families have already given through this fundraiser. Here are the totals as of 9/26/25:
4th: $1,975
5th: $3,850
6th: $2570
That is just shy of $8500 total!! How incredible!! 5th and 6th Grade will get popsicles soon and 5th grade has also earned doughnuts! The fundraiser continues through October 10th, which is also Movie Night at the HS Soccer Stadium. Gates open at 6pm and the movie (the new Lilo and Stitch) will start at 7pm. Lastly, the HS Cheerleaders will be here on Friday selling spirit items. It's going to be a great week at WI!!
