First, thank you so much parents for a GREAT first day!! I've had 26 of them now, and I can honestly say this was one of the best!! We had a few bumps with our new pick up system, but remember, it will take us a few days to work out the kinks, so please be patient. We appreciate the smiles and understanding from today! Here are some info and reminders for tomorrow...
- Please put the backpack tag you received with your car tag on your child's backpack. This will keep you from having to park and come inside to pick up your child. Also, make sure you have your child's hanging car tag in the car for pick up. Again, this keeps you from having to park and come inside. Those are the two most important reminders for a smooth afternoon pickup line. If you need additional tags, just contact our office.
- Each student should wear their grade level color tomorrow!! This is really important!! They will understand why after tomorrow's Spartan WrapUp!! Fourth graders wear RED, fifth graders wear WHITE, and sixth graders wear BLUE!!
- Remember our Parent Orientation is next Wednesday, August 23rd at 5:30. It will begin in the cafeteria and PARENTS, wear your child's grade level colors!! Don't forget!! This is very important!! PTO will also be selling spirit wear before and after orientation!!
- We are short one recess aid. If you know someone who wants to work two hours per day with the world's BEST kids, please have them contact Mrs. Lawson at llawson@bixbyps.org. In the meantime, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!! If you are available to help at any time and you are BEST trained, please sign up at this LINK! Thank you so much!!
