We’ve celebrated TWO special WE Spartans lately!
On October 22nd, 2nd grader Blakely Kendrick was recognized at the high school football game for showing COMPASSION. 😍
Last night, 3rd grader Milo Maguffee was also recognized for being caught with good character after his class also selected him as the student who demonstrates the most COMPASSION! 🥰
We are so proud of these Westies and all their other friends at West who demonstrate so many wonderful character habits.

This evening West Elementary was represented by 3rd Graders Emerson Cooper and Jack Campbell at the school board meeting.
Emerson and Jack led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. 🇺🇸 These two Spartans did a wonderful job of representing our school!
Emerson and Jack are leaders of the school, kind to their classmates, always willing to lend a helping hand and study hard according to their teacher, Mrs. Poston.

Sharing a roof with our Intermediate friends has some definite perks including Peer Mentors which started this week. 👏🏻
Our elementary and intermediate friends spend time together in the morning and are building strong partnerships! We’re so thankful to have this opportunity for our students to learn and grow from each other. 🥳
