John Holmes is quoted to say, “There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” West Elementary students and families exercised their hearts in a big way during the last couple of weeks collecting cereal for the Bixby Outreach Center. While we enjoyed a friendly competition against North Elementary, we enjoyed giving back to the community even more. Thank you to the West Elementary students and families for collecting over 1,000 boxes of cereal for our community. It felt good to give back!
