In case you missed it

Dear BNI Parents,

The November Newsletter was sent out last week! But, in case you missed it:

  • Veterans Day: On November 11th at 8:00 a.m., North Intermediate will be hosting a parade and reception to honor our Veterans and current service men & women. If you have a Veteran or someone currently serving who would like to participate in our parade, please RSVP HERE. There will also be a reception immediately following the parade. Approximate ending time of parade and reception is 9:15 a.m. Please RSVP by November 9th, so we have an accurate count of participants.

  • 6th Grade presents “Balloons over North”: Our sixth grade students are creating something very special for our friends next door at North Elementary! Sixth Graders have been reading “Balloons over Broadway, the story about how the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade began. The students are working hard on their very own floats so they can show them off for our friends at NE.  Students have been given some time during library class but are also able to work on them outside of school and during their lunch.  If you are willing to donate any of these items for these floats, we would appreciate it! Donations can be sent to the office! Thank you for your support!

  • The Demand Project: Join us as Bixby Public Schools hosts Jason Weis, cyber safety expert on November 7th! If your child has a cell phone or spends any time on electronic devices, this workshop is for you! Jason will touch on all things cyber safety, hidden dangers to look out for, and the tools you need to keep your kids safe when using their devices. He will provide an in-depth presentation that will give you insights on how predators operate, how to keep children safe online, and how you can stay educated on emerging technological trends. RSVP for the event HERE! Click here to learn more about The Demand Project!
