Yesterday, our Bixby Middle School E-sports team members, Latch Petersen and Roman Cannon, made it to the Grand Finals. They streamed their matches online and even put these matches on the jumbo screen for the whole tournament to watch. They won their brackets for Super Smash Brothers and came up 2nd in the Grand Finals. We are super proud of our whole team on their hard work and dedication in their first tournament. They competed with a total of 19 schools (middle school and high school) where Mark, Sebastian, Latch, and Roman, all qualified for the State Tournament in December, with the possibility of more members qualifying when results come in. Our students/players did a great job representing not only our school but our district. Congrats Team!
