BMS to Transition to Distance Learning

Bixby Middle School Families & Staff

Due to circumstances related to COVID-19 cases in the Bixby community and the subsequent impact relative to staff shortage and high numbers of student quarantines/absences, Bixby Middle School will transition to distance learning beginning Monday, November 16  through Friday, November 20. At this time, we anticipate students will return to in-person instruction on Monday, November 30 following Thanksgiving Break. However, we will continue to monitor conditions closely.

Families who wish to take advantage of our free breakfast and lunch service can pick up meals at North Elementary School or Bixby 9th Grade Center from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m. each day during this distance learning period. To ensure we have adequate meals prepared for families, please complete this form TODAY if you would like to participate in this program.
Student medications held in the school nurse's office may be picked up by the parent or guardian if needed during the distance learning period. Please call the school during regular school hours to make arrangements.  A picture ID will be required to pick up medication.

Please let us know if you have other questions.
