PSAT /NMSQT Testing
The PSAT is being given at the high school on Wed., Oct. 10th. The PSAT is open to 9th - 11th grade students. The PSAT is not only a practice SAT, but it is also used by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation to screen and identify students for National Merit recognition. Juniors who take the PSAT are automatically entered in the National Merit search. Students who take the PSAT will also have free access to SAT test prep through Khan Academy once they receive their score reports.
To register for the test, students must bring the test fee of $16 to the high school counseling office to secure their spots. There are limited seats available, so please register early. Cash or checks payable to Bixby Public Schools are acceptable. We cannot hold spots without pre-payment.
• Juniors may register beginning Thursday, Aug. 30th.
• Sophomores & Freshmen may register beginning Wed., Sept 5th.
• LAST DAY to REGISTER is Tues, Sept 11th. Registration closes at 3:45pm. No late registrations permitted.
• If spots are still available after the cutoff, registration will remain open until all spots are filled.

Food Delivery: Can we do that?
Parents, to ensure the safety and security of our students, we do not allow outside food delivery to the high school campus. If you wish to bring your student lunch, please park and walk it into the main office via the clock tower entrance.

BHS- Reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday) is Picture Day for underclassmen. Freshmen will go to Room N-121 with their science teachers; sophomores and juniors will go to the foyer of the Whitey Ford gymnasium with their English teachers.
Happy Monday! Parking permit enforcement begins Tuesday, Sept 4th. Please make sure you have purchased your permit for $20 in the Assistant Principal's office. Students should park in the front lots. Back lots are reserved for staff.

This Friday morning, August 24th, Bixby High School has been invited to host the Channel 8 morning show "Pep Rally Friday" at Whitey Ford gym from 6-7 am. Doors will open at 5:30 am and we will go live on Channel 8 at 5:55 am. All BHS students are invited!
