Tuesday, May 9th --> GIRLS tennis tryouts 4:30-5:30 at the HS tennis courts. Students will need to bring their own racket and dress appropriately.
Friday, May 12th --> PEP Rally during 4th hour.
Sunday, May 14th --> Baccalaureate 2:00- 3:00 @ New Beginnings Church.
Sunday, May 14th --> Senior Parade - 3:30 line up. Parade begins at 4:00.

Thursday, May 18th --> Semester Finals (9th, 10th and 11th grade)1st, 3rd, 5th hours
Friday, May 19th --> Semester Finals (9th, 10th and 11th grade) 2nd, 4th, 6th hours

Cafeteria News
Breakfast and lunch are no longer free. Breakfast is $1.55 and lunch is $3.10

Senior 2023 information
Monday, May 15th --> Senior Finals - 1st, 3rd, 5th hours
Tuesday, May 16th --> Senior Finals - 2nd, 4th, 6th hours
Wednesday, May 17th --> Senior Breakfast at ORU @ 9:30. Check in at 9:15
Wednesday, May 17th --> Graduation Practice @ 11:00am. Will have 1 or 2 run throughs
Wednesday, May 17th --> Graduation at ORU Mabee Center 7:30pm. Seniors need to arrive at 6:00pm
Wednesday, May 17th --> Gradfest - 11:00pm-2:00am at Incredible Pizza. Cost $50

Summer School 2023
Dates: 5/23-6/20 (No school Memorial Day 5/29)
Time: Monday-Friday 8am-1pm
Cost: $150 per semester course. ** After 4/28 at 12pm- price increases to $175 per semester course.
Location: BHS Rm W-10
Students are required on campus the following dates:
5/23/23- All students take prescriptive tests
6/6/23- Students take 1st course final (for students taking 2 classes
6/20/23- students take final for remaining courses
Students who fall behind progress will be required to come in person.
Students on pace or ahead may work from home on non required days.

Parking Permits
Parking permits are required to park on campus. You must have a current 2022-2023 parking permit, old permits will not work and could result in getting a parking sticker on your car. Student parking permits can be purchased from the following: https://www.bixbyps.org/o/bixb...

Students will need to do the following to purchase a parking permit:
1) Must pay $15 for an athletic drug test on My School Bucks
2) Must pay $20 for parking permit on My School Bucks
3) Fill out Google Doc on BHS website... make, model and tag number of your vehicle
Once all 3 steps are complete, Mrs. Simic can issue you a permit. She's located in the Assistant Principals office, next door to the Attendance Office in the east hallway.

Also, a reminder that Bixby High School is a closed campus for all lunches and all students are expected to eat in the cafeteria areas. Further, students are expected to remain in those areas for the duration of the lunch period. Students SHOULD NOT BE IN THE PARKING LOT OR OTHER AREAS OF THE SCHOOL DURING THEIR ASSIGNED LUNCH PERIODS WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE OFFICE. If you arrive at school during your lunch period, you should proceed immediately to the cafeteria areas. Students in violation of these policies will be subject to discipline.

Tutoring for students
We are now offering tutoring during school hours.
If you are struggling or know of a student who is, please have them reach out to their counselor or Assistant Principal so we can get a day/time set up.
Math is available Monday and Wednesday with Mr. Burge during 2nd hour.
Science is available with Mrs. Galliart Monday and Wednesday during 5th hour or Mr. Meyer on Tuesday and Thursday during 6th hour.
English is available with Mrs. Coulson on Tuesday and Thursday during 6th hour
Evening tutoring is not available at this time.
