📚✨ A Dragon-Sized Special Visit! Our students had an exciting opportunity to welcome author Bruce Coville, the writer of the beloved book Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher! During his visit, students got to hear about his writing process, ask thoughtful questions, and learn what it’s like to be an author. One of the highlights of the day was students getting their books personally signed by Mr. Coville! ✍️🐉 It was such a fun and inspiring experience for our readers and writers. Thank you, Mr. Coville, for sharing your time and stories with us!

🎉 Staffulty of the Month Shoutout! 🎉 Join us in congratulating our Staffulty of the Month winners, Ms. McVay and Mrs. Shelly! These two amazing women go above and beyond for our students and staff each and every day. Their kindness, dedication, and willingness to help wherever they’re needed truly make our school a better place. We are so thankful to have such hardworking and caring educators on our team. 📐🌳 Designing the Perfect Park! Over the last couple of weeks, students in Mr. Boone’s class have been learning how to find the area and perimeter of parallelograms, squares, and triangles. To wrap up the lesson, students put their skills to the test by designing their very own “Perfect Park!” Using grid paper, students created parks made up of different shapes and calculated the area of each feature they included. It was a fun way to combine math, creativity, and problem-solving! We love seeing our students apply what they’ve learned in such creative ways! 🌟
