🥫 National Childhood Hunger Day | October 16
No family should have to wonder where their next meal will come from.
In recognition of National Childhood Hunger Day, Bixby Public Schools is coming together for a district-wide food drive 10/5-10/9 benefiting the Bixby Outreach Center—an organization that supports our friends and neighbors across the Bixby community in a way no other organization does.
Together, our schools, families, staff, and community can make a meaningful difference for local families facing food insecurity.
💚 Let’s come together, fill the shelves, and help ensure no family in Bixby goes hungry. Our school is collecting Pork & Beans, Baked Beans, Ranch Beans, and Chili Beans so grab a few extra if you're able and send them to school next week!

🔬✨ WHAT’S UP WEDNESDAY! ✨🔬
Last week, Mrs. Wilson’s class became scientists! 🧪 Students learned about the Scientific Method and practiced using each step through hands-on experiments.
💧 How many drops of water can fit on a penny? They explored the power of cohesion!
🌈 Will Skittles dissolve faster in hot or cold water? Students made predictions, tested them, and observed the results!
We love seeing our Spartans think, predict, test, and discover! Great job, scientists! ❤️💙

🤝🏗️ Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! 🏗️🤝
Ms. Youngberg’s class was busy building connections AND towers! ❤️💙
Students worked together on a team-building challenge where they had to find things they had in common, write them down, and then use their teamwork and creativity to build the tallest tower possible using only index cards! 📋🏆
It was a great way to practice communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and a little friendly competition! 🙌
Way to build strong teams, Spartans! ❤️💙
