A group of freshmen leadership students attended UCO's Leadership Academy today in Edmond. Aubrey and Emma even won $1,000 scholarships to UCO for demonstrating excellent leadership skills during the day!

This week Mrs. Nolan’s students worked on electing officials to run their own Animal Farm. The pigs may have won in the book, but our classes went to the dogs!
Bixby Freshman are exploring population growth and sustainability through an interactive lab in Mr. Morris' class. They were tasked with managing their population to maximize profits while maintaining the healthiest fishery possible. We have some super scientists here at the 9th grade center!!

Bixby 9GC leadership students visited Central Elementary to practice Great Expectations door greeting procedures!
As an introduction to Animal Farm, Ms. Phenicie's Honors English students wrote fables and then went to Central Elementary to read them to third grade classes. Reading buddies practices skills of analysis.

The freshman class collected almost 1,000 cans to donate to the Bixby Outreach Center as part of the homecoming competition! Thank you all for your donations to this great organization!
