The Battle of the Burbs presented by QuikTrip will bring Bixby and Owasso football together for the first time since 2011. The game between two of the top teams in this region of the country will take place August 25th, 2022 at H.A. Chapman Stadium on the campus of Tulsa University.
“We think it’s a wonderful event for both Bixby and Owasso public schools and our students and student athletes to play in an event like this that will bring two of the biggest communities in the state together,” said Bixby Football Head Coach Loren Montgomery.
Bixby football star Jakeb Snyder talks a bit about the matchup next season.
“We’re thrilled to provide a venue that showcases the great teams on the field and provides an exciting atmosphere for the fans in the stands,” said Mendi Treat, QuikTrip’s Marketing and Communications Manager. “Tulsa is such a great football town, and we know fans and alumni of these two schools can’t wait to fire up their team spirit and cheer on their favorite team in this highly anticipated matchup.”
