Our annual BPS Community Blood Drive is right around the corner! Each school site competes for a $500 grand prize by earning points for recruiting blood donors to the event on Friday, December 10th.
The purpose of the program is to educate students on helping with a community service project and the need for blood in Oklahoma. Students of all ages invite their parents, or those who are 16 years or older to “Be the Change” by giving blood and voting for their school the day of the drive. The schools have wish lists of what they would spend the money on if their school wins!
The Bixby Rotary Club has graciously agreed to give $500 towards the grand prize given directly to the winning school!
