Congratulations to Bixby Public School's October Employee of the Month, Megan Robbins, a special education paraprofessional from Bixby High School. She is an incredibly bright light to her students, especially those in the severe/profound room. These students have higher needs resulting in a difficult environment that isn’t easy for most people. She works enthusiastically and cheerfully with each child, engaging them in activities to help improve their motor skills and other areas of need. She uses her skills of creativity to encourage and educate our other classes. Her ability to build rapport with her students establishes an individual connection to each student based upon their common interests. She is a fantastic paraprofessional and extremely helpful to teachers on campus. Her benevolence in regard to special education students is something that cannot be taught. Megan definitely deserves recognition.
