Bixby Public Schools

Congratulations to the Bixby Public Schools August Employee of the Month, Amanda Holden, kindergarten paraprofessional at North Elementary.  She took great initiative in setting up the classroom before school this year when the teacher had to be out for medical reasons. She was the assistant in the class for the first time last year and remembered where to put things and what to put on the walls. She also copied beginning of the year papers, as well as made a cute door and hall display for parents and students to see during their walk-through. Amanda truly made the start of the school year so much easier on her teacher and more beneficial for the students! Since then she has been working with multiple students with learning delays in the classroom and a neighboring classroom. Amanda is simply the best assistant a teacher could ever ask for!
