Easily one of the most meaningful traditions here at BPS is our annual Military Appreciation Night.
In conjunction with our first home football game, the event brings together multiple student groups to pay respect to our local veterans. The night includes the awarding of certificates to each of the veterans, the presentation of colors and the unfurling of a large American Flag on the field by our MCJROTC students, and the playing of the national anthem by our terrific band. The event culminates with an awesome flyover of the stadium by vintage military aircraft.
