BPS Launches Pulse: Meaningful Community Feedback

As a district, we strive to continually better meet the needs of our students. We would like your input related to your school experience and the components that matter most to you. To help facilitate this process, the district is partnering with Pulse to collect and analyze data related to school performance. Your feedback is important to us and we thank you in advance for your participation.

What is Pulse? Pulse is a company specializing in surveys, data collection, and analysis. 

Why Pulse? Pulse will help the district ensure we are asking the right questions at the right times to keep our fingers on the pulse of our community’s needs.

What does this mean to me as a parent? Families have the opportunity to participate in Pulse surveys, which will allow you to share anonymous feedback by answering 6-8 questions once every month. Your feedback will help shape where we focus our energies and resources as we formulate future plans. All survey responses will be anonymous.

What’s next? Families will receive an invitation from their children’s school on the dates listed below. This invite will be sent to the email address listed in PowerSchool. You will then need to set up an account and input your school code which will be provided. The “Getting Started Guide” and FAQs for families can be viewed here.

Families with students at multiple school sites will be able to add multiple school codes under one parent account to ensure all applicable surveys can be accessed. Your preferences such as delivery method and frequency of surveys can be set at this time as well.

Launch Dates:

Elementary Schools: Monday, March 8th

Intermediate & Middle Schools: Tuesday, March 23rd

9th Grade Center, High School, & Spartan Connection Academy: Tuesday, April 6th
