Happy New Year, Spartans!
We hope our Bixby School family has enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing, and healthy holiday season. Although Winter Break continues through Friday, January 8th, we wanted to share a few important reminders moving forward.
There is no school or meal service for the week of January 4th - January 8th. All school buildings and district offices remain closed.
All students and staff will return to school in-person on Monday, January 11th - Friday, January 15th for the start of the spring semester.
A decision relative to how BPS will proceed with instruction following the week of January 11th will be shared with families no later than January 8th.
As outlined in Supt. Miller’s update following the December 10th Board of Education meeting, there are three possible scenarios for what school may look after the week of January 11th - January 15th. We encourage all families and staff to review that information here.
Please remember, it is the goal of BPS to have our school family safely and consistently back together in our classrooms. As we begin our spring semester, we know it will not be without challenges but we also know we will continue to navigate these uncertain times with grace, perseverance, and most of all, the best teachers, staff, and students around!
