Bixby Bicycles is sponsoring the first annual Bixby Freedom Run on June 30th (Friday night) at 7:00 pm. $10 from every event entry will be donated to the Bixby Educational Endowment Foundation (BEEF) in support of BEEF's annual Teacher Grant program. The Bixby Freedom Run offers a 1 mile fun walk/jog/run for beginners or anyone that wants to support BPS in addition to a 5K and 10K run. The top 3 male and female runners will receive a 1st to 3rd place medal, along with a prize. Each entry will receive a finishing medal.
Following the run, the Bridge Church will be holding a fireworks display at 9:45 pm at Bentley Sports Complex, with food trucks and family fun kicking off at 7pm.
