BHS & 9GC Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
BHS Spartans, the excitement on campus surrounding the construction of a new high school also brings with it the challenge of mapping and coordinating the safe arrival and dismissal of almost 2,000 students as well as teachers, staff, and visitors.
The plan below may change as we get school started and make adjustments as needed. One thing we know for sure, we will need everyone to work together, ensuring understanding of their arrival and dismissal route, and lots of grace and patience to help things go smoothly!
A few important reminders:
If you are transporting a HS student AND and 9GC student, the AM drop-off and PM pick-up routes are different. Be sure to review both!
For BMS students (car riders) who have a first hour class on the BHS campus, please follow the 9GC Only Loop.
For BMS students (bus riders) who have a first hour class on the BHS campus, please stay on the bus through MS and HS drop-off and exit the bus at the 9GC.
The curve on the east side of HOTS is ONE WAY TRAFFIC (north to south). DO NOT enter the curve to head north.
There are ONLY TWO EXIT options: Riverview via the loop behind the 9GC and Mingo via the road near baseball/softball. Do NOT attempt to exit via the HOTS lot or the front 9GC lot.
