Mrs. Stephanie Butler

This is my sixth year in Bixby. I began my career as a teacher after graduating from Oklahoma State University (GO COWBOYS!!!), where I stayed for 10 years, mostly in 8th grade Science. While teaching, I returned to school at Oklahoma State University in the master's program for Community Counseling. When I changed my career to the counseling field I worked in the community as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counselor. In my two years of Community Counseling I earned my Professional License in Counseling and a License in Alcohol and Drug Counseling. Although I loved my job, I loved working with my teenagers the most. This led me back to the school system where I have the most opportunity to work with teens. This is my 10th year as a public school counselor and I hope there are many more years to come!
