It's time to check in with your kiddos on their Reading Log progress for Session 2! See the graphic for details on the timeline, requirements, and ideal progress at this point in the session. We still have plenty of time for everyone to reach their goal! Ask them to share their log with you this evening and most importantly, take a few minutes to read together tonight!
Also, please keep in mind that our focus here is TIME IN TEXT, as we know the endless impact that reading daily has on a student's academic achievement. We are very flexible in terms of reading material. Our focus is HIGH INTEREST so that we can instill a LOVE OF READING in every child. If you have questions about what might be appropriate for your child in terms of Reading Log Credit, please contact your child's reading teacher and ask! The answer to the "Can I read this?" question is most often, "YES!" We are here to help each and every student reach their goal!
