Good afternoon Bixby 6th and 7th grade families. We hope you are staying safe and are having a wonderful week. Prior to the onset of the Coronavirus Pandemic, BMS had planned to host two testing sessions for students wishing to test into an advanced math class for the 2020-2021 school year. These testing sessions were intended to give a student, whose averaged semester grades in their math class this year was less than 80% (B), an opportunity to demonstrate the math proficiency needed for an advanced BMS math class. These sessions were scheduled for the weeks of 5/25/20 and 8/3/20 by appointment only. As of today, 4/22/20, both sessions are postponed pending additional information and direction from the Oklahoma State Department of Education, State / local governments, and our BPS district administration. BMS will send any updated information to our Intermediate school sites for distribution to 6th & 7th grade families as it becomes available.
