Well it's a busy time at CI!! We have a lot going on that we wanted to share and remind you about this week.
1. Because of snow days, the Special Olympics Penny (and any other form of donation) Drive has been extended to this Wednesday, February 12th. Students wishing to donate can turn money in to their teacher. This money goes to help our Special Olympians with registration fees, clothing, and travel expenses for the State Games in Stillwater in May.
2. StuCo has Candy Grams for sale for $1 each. Students can purchase them before school and at lunch times to send for Valentine's Day this week. Money raised from these candy grams goes towards the sixth grade dance in May.
3. The Honor Choir will be delivering Singing Candy Grams for Valentine's Day as well. The form for ordering these can be accessed on our website at this link: https://5il.co/cuiv Orders can be sent to our front office or given to Mrs. Kopichanski. Money from these goes towards the Honor Choir field trips.
4. Box Tops for Education are being collected until this Friday, February 14th. There's a little contest in the works as well! Students can put the boxtops in one of the buckets for the Specials Teachers. The winner (or loser??) will be duct taped to the wall. We have it on good authority that the kids are working hard to fill Mrs. Kopichanski's bucket!!
5. Our Jewelry Fundraiser is ongoing until February 19th. This is a great fundraiser because some of the pieces are made specifically for Bixby Spartans! There are other beautiful pieces as well that make great gifts! All money and orders are due February 19th. The prizes for this fundraiser are listed in the packet sent home last Friday. The money from this fundraiser will be used for funding at CI and at WI at the beginning of our next school year.
