Welcome to third grade! I am looking forward to a wonderful and exciting year!
I currently hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University with endorsements in science, social studies and language arts. In 2005, I earned my Middle Childhood/Generalist National Board Certification. This is my 12th year to be teaching third grade for Bixby Public Schools. Previously, I substituted for one year in the Bixby and Leonard school districts and taught as a third grade math aide for Bixby the following year. I still thoroughly enjoy the curiosity and emerging independence of this age group. .
My husband and I have lived in the Bixby area and have been married for 25 years. We have 4 wonderful children that have graduated from Bixby Public Schools, 5 precious grandchildren, and one adorable pooch. We also have 3 grand puppies that often come to visit.
For fun, I like to watch sports, swim, read and spend time with my family. My husband and I attend church in Tulsa.
