Students who have been sent home or are absent due to illness must be free of fever, diarrhea and vomiting for 24 hours w/o the use of medications. If placed on an antibiotic for a contagious illness, students must be on the antibiotic for 24 hours before returning to school.
BMS is registered to participate in the 2019 NIDA Drugs & Alcohol Chat Day on 1/24/19. We have room for about 30 students to participate. If you are interested in your student participating, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
8th Grade parents: The application window is now open for the Tulsa Tech Pre-Engineering class for the 2019-2020 school year. 8th grade students can go to tulsatech.edu/apply to start the application process.
Our All-Athlete Physicals Night (7-12th grades) is scheduled for Thursday, 5/2 @ 6pm at BHS. Students participating in extra-curricular activities and athletics for the 2019-2020 school year are required to complete this process prior to the beginning of the school year.

BMS student will be participating in the All-District Choir Festival 11/06, 7:30 pm at First Baptist Church of Tulsa, 4th and Cincinnati.
8th grade students have an opportunity to take the PSAT 8 on Thursday, 12/6. The test cost is $11.00. Students taking the test will need to bring money to the counseling office by Wednesday, 10/31. Space is limited to the first 175 students. Call 918-366-2201 for more info.

PSA - BMS donates unclaimed clothing, lunch boxes, and other items to the Bixby Outreach Center. We are preparing to make our first donation of the school year. If your student is missing an item, please encourage them to check the Lost-N-Found table and claim any item that may be theirs. We will clear the table this Friday and donate the items to BOC next week.
Help our school earn cash by clipping Box Tops from products and sending them to school! Each one is worth 10¢ and our school can use the cash for whatever it needs. Box Tops should be turned in to your students Math Teacher. See a list of participating products at www.BTFE.com/products.
